Welcome to my little corner of the internet, and a glimpse into my scattered mom brain! My name is Andrea Loewen and I was born and raised in a farming family in the heart of Kansas. Ten years ago I packed up and moved up to the KC area where I now live with my Husband, Taylor (my first grade sweetheart!), and our daughter, Taelyn, who was born in April 2020 (hellooo pandemic baby!).

This blog is a product of many years of dreaming, a couple years of “planning”, and a giant leap of faith. I’m a SAHM and like many first-time moms, I was struggling to find something that made me feel like ME again. I had toyed with the idea of a blog for several years but never pulled the trigger on it until the evening my husband came home with a new (to me) laptop and the words “consider this an investment in your blog”. That’s all it took to give me the motivation I needed – hearing the supportive words from my honey saying he believed in me and believed I could do something great gave me the confidence to dive in.

My dream for this space is for it to become a source of not only information but also inspiration. I hope to share things with you that mean something. Things that are helpful. Things that inspire you, or even make you laugh. I hope to share the love of Christ and I hope to bring a bit of light into the darkness of this world!

Motherhood:

My greatest job title I have ever had and will ever have is “Mama”, and I love sharing what that looks like in my world. I’m learning as I go, and I hope to share some insight that I gain along the way.

Lifestyle:

From learned life hacks to DIY projects to go-to recipes, and everything in between! You’ll find a mix of all the things that make up daily life.

Fashion:

While I’m definitely no fashion-forward trend-setter, I do love a good outfit and the confidence it brings. Better yet, I love a good outfit that was found ON SALE! Deals and discounts are my shopping love language as I’m sure you can relate!

Faith:

There is no mistaking this – I am the person I am today because of the God I serve and the grace He has extended to me. In all that I say and do in this space and in my life, I hope you see the light of Christ and feel the joy and the love of a Savior who can do far more than we could ever ask or imagine.
